CZ Key v1.1
Installs Czech localized keyboard on your Newton, you can choose between the QWERTY and QWERTZ layouts. Affects on-screen keyboard as well as the external keyboard input.
Installation
Dowload the CZ Key package on your Newton with your favorite Newton-desktop connection utility. Install Czech localized fonts and the Key Patch package as well.
Choose Czech QWERTY or QWERTZ layout in Preferences / Local
Use Styles pallete to choose CE font as default font.
Open on-screen keyboard or use external keyboard.
Version history
- [v.1.1 - 1/20/Y2K] - The punctuation keys bug was smashed! Now symbols are displayed correctly.
- [v.1 - 12/21/1999] Initial release - Characters are in default ROM font, i.e. they don't correspond to the actual character set. This problem is now partialy solved by the Key Patch, for details please see its own documentation. - Some of the punctuation keys are not displayed properly even with right fontset altough they WORK properly. This will be hopefuly fixed in the future too.
